In-Laws

My in-laws are visiting us this weekend for Mary Ann's brothers birthday.

I like in-laws. The idea of them is scary. It's as though you are forced to feel comfortable, warm, and cuddly with two people you would never dream of being comfortable, warm, and cuddly around. So all parties act comfortable, warm, and cuddly to the point where if life itself won't explode, then something is desperately and despairingly wrong. Life is wrong. But I like in-laws. They "question the status quo", and you all know how much I'm into that.

Living Sunset

It's a quiet night tonight. Rain finally came, and it was simply lovely.

This picture comes to celebrate today's cool release. It's nice, but not too nice. The photo proves the problem of Knoxville sunsets: even though everyone "loves a good sunset picture" (even if Aunt Jamie, who doesn't know a camera from your iPhone, takes it), Knoxville's sunsets are particularly bad, like a bland bologna sandwich missing the tang of yellow mustard. You know what I mean? Like candy without the sugar...

DynamicArt: a new turn

I have decided to continue photography as my art form, as my beauty, and as my career during this season of my life.

I'm excited to bring you this new Web site, with a legitimate style and business. I will post to my Xanga for only a short time more because, as I work out the kinks of this new Blog, I will try to aim this blog toward my art, both music and sound and whatever else comes up, and with that comes a freedom that I have never had with Xanga. I really love the idea of creative, programming, and publishing beautiful work for a professional and beauty-seeking audience.

Tomorrow, I start a new job at a photo store in Maryville, TN. I have my own wedding shoots coming up, and I have some opportunities to assist professionals in their wedding photography?learning from the pro's, 'eh Jesse? The future looks bright for photography.

And so, with a fond hello and an exciting future, I introduce you to my new Weblog.

I got to take a photographic walk with my cousin Dan on Sunday?that's a first for me! It was fun to take pictures alongside someone else, and I'm sure I'll do it again in the future. I'm excited to go up in the mountains and see what kinds of shots we can capture together up there when the leaves start to change.

Blessings to you all. Thanks for stopping in!
